On Thursday, Oct. 14, the Community and Economic Development Association (CEDA) of Cook County will be at Lemont Township to discuss their Low Income Home Energy Assistance and Weatherization Program.

CEDA will be available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 1115 Warner Ave., to meet with seniors (age 60 and up) and the disabled. To schedule a meeting, call Lemont Township at 630-257-2522.

The mission of CEDA is to work with communities "to empower families and individuals to achieve self-sufficiency and improve their quality of life." Their energy assistance program is designed to help low-income families with their winter energy services.
